Bacon Wrapped Asparagus with Bacon Wrapped Chili Spice


  • Asparagus (3 for each piece of Bacon)
  • Thick Cut Bacon
  • Sucralose (We used Truvia)
  • Chili Powder (1/4 tsp per every 2 or 3 bundles)


  1. Presoak wooden toohpicks.
  2. Combine chili powder and sucralose in a 2:1 ratio. meaning if you use 1 tsp of chili powder, use 1/2 tsp of sucralose.
  3. Cut Bacon in half and lay on a sheet.
  4. Dust Bacon with with the chili powder.
  5. Take 3 or 4 asparagus spears and roll them up in bacon.
  6. Secure with toothpick.
  7. Grill on Medium/Low for 10-12 minutes.

MICROWAVE OPTION: Instead of using the grill, cook in the microwave for 2 minutes.  Flip and Microwave for another 2 minutes.  

The Grill will give you a more crispy result and the typical grill flavor.

The Microwave works well and fabulous for a quick snack.  The results in the microwave a little more chewy but the flavor is excellent!
